Vorobyov Alexander Aleksandrovich (Russia): In 1981, he graduated from the Volgograd State Medical Institute and immediately began to work as an assistant at the Department of Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy of the VGMI. After defending his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences, he worked in the Surgical Department of the Volgograd Regional Clinical Hospital. The professor was awarded the badge "Excellence in Healthcare", the sign "Honorary Worker of the Higher School of the Russian Federation", and "For merits to the Volgograd State Medical University" of the II and III degrees, three times laureate of the Volgograd Region Prize in the field of science and technology, and laureate of the prize of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers.
