Lopatin Yuri Mikhailovich (Russia) graduated from the Tajik State Medical Institute in 1980. After completing his clinical residency, he worked at the Republican Cardiology Center (Dushanbe). From 1983 to 1986, he studied at the postgraduate school, after which he defended his thesis, then worked as an assistant at the Department of Internal Diseases No. 1 of the Tajik State Medical Institute. From 1990 to 1995, he studied doctoral studies at the All-Russian Cardiology Scientific Center (Moscow), and in 1995, he defended his doctoral dissertation. From 1995 to the present time, he was Head of the Department of the Volgograd Regional Cardiology Center, and since 1998, he has been Head of the Department of Cardiology, Cardiovascular, and Thoracic Surgery of the Institute of NMFO VolSMU. In 2022, - elected a member of the Department of Cardiology, Cardiovascular, and Thoracic Surgery of the Institute of NMFO VolSMU. In 2022, - elected a member of the Department of Cardiology, Cardiovascular, and Thoracic Surgery and a correspondent of the Russian Academy of Sciences from the Department of Physiological Sciences. The professor was awarded the honorary title "Physician of the Russian Federation". He is a member of the Presidium of the Board of the Russian Society of Cardiology, the Society of Heart Failure Specialists of the Russian Federation, and the Heart Failure Association of the European Society of Cardiac Logs. In 2022, Lopatin Yu.M. was awarded the title of "Honorary Professor of VolgSMU".
